Hello, my name is Jessica. This blog is part of a service-learning project I’m doing for my Virtual Girls course. The class is looking at how technology influences girl’s lives and how their identities are constructed through it. As part of my project I will be doing online activism through different sources such as: change.org, Amnesty International and CodePink. Each action taken will pertain to girls, technology or an issue dealing with feminism. The other part of my project is discussing the activism that is taking place and issues that pertain to girls and technology. The goal being to inform and make a change!
